In recognition of Independence Day, on Friday evening, July 5 at 7:00 Bargemusic will present a concert of all American music by the composers Gottschalk, Rzewski, Wheeler, Copland, Bolcom, Bond, and Bernstein/Smit, all on piano by Olga Vinokur (photo).
On Saturday evening, July 6 at 6:00 Ms. Vinokur returns with Scriabin Inspired by Chopin (with commentaries) Part I. She will play Part II on Sunday afternoon, July 7 at 4:00.
On Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, details here. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
