    Hey neighbors. I confess I hadn’t checked the site in a while, but I came here the other day looking to see what BHB thought of the newly redone Shell station on Atlantic and Henry and came up empty, so to speak. They’re still going with pricier Full Serve, I see?

    Also, in recession news…

    I walked past the Popeye’s on Court Street yesterday afternoon and saw it was a madhouse for their one-day eight pieces of chicken for $4.99 deal. Did anyone get them some cheap cluck cluck?

    And this is the second weekend that the neighboring McDonald’s is now open 24-7 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Guessing last weekend went off without any significant problems?

    I count the days when the construction on College Place / Love Lane ceases.

    In addition to the early morning 6AM bangs and booms, there is yelling, loud cell phone calls, peeking into apartment windows, static radio stations and chalk-board-screeching attempts at singing!

    This not only goes on Monday through Friday, but now has grandfathered into Saturdays!

    I count the days!

    LLR, be glad they’re stil working on it at all. The residents around 20 Henry Street are now stuck with an abandoned development and a huge hole in the ground.

    Speaking of the fire in the laundromat, has anyone been reimbursed for burnt laundry. I dropped mine off for wash and fold and about 1/4 of my clothes melted. I made a claim with the owner, but haven’t heard anything back, nor received my claim. Does anybody know the status?
