As you may have noticed, the Promenade Christmas Tree, located at the Montague Street entrance to the Promenade, is already lit (see photo, by your correspondent). Still, the official lighting will take place on this Wednesday evening, December 12 at 5:30. Carolers from the Grace Chorale of Brooklyn will be there to add a festive note. After the tree lighting, the carolers will make their way to the Brooklyn Women’s Exchange, 55 Pierrepont Street, where you can do holiday shopping until 8:00, and enjoy free hot apple cider and cookies.
