Bargemusic’s weekend begins Friday evening, September 21 at 8:00 when violinist Yevgeny Kutik and pianist Anna Polonsky play works by Strvinsky, Prokofiev, Rubinstein, Razaz, Andrela Pinto Correla, and Schnittke.
On Saturday evening, September 22 at 6:00, and again on Sunday afternoon, September 23 at 4:00, violinist and Bargemusic Artistic Director Mark Peskanov, cellist Julian Schwarz, and pianist Misha Dichter will perform works by Handel, Halvorsen, and Schubert.
On Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pianist Marika Bournaki will perform the third in a series of concerts that, when completed, will have presented all 32 of Beethoven’s piano sonatas.
On Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, details here. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
