The weekend begins Friday evening, August 17 at 8:00, when pianist Asiya Korepanova (photo) plays works by J.S. Bach, Brahms, Poulenc, and Beethoven. On Saturday evening, August 18 at 6:00 and again at 8:00, the St. Petersburg Piano Quartet will play the same two works, one by Beethoven and one by Schubert. On Sunday afternoon, August 19 at 4:00, pianist Marika Bournaki (“the Celine Dion of classical”) will play the second three in her series of recitals of the 32 piano sonatas of Beethoven. On Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, details here. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
