Just over a month ago, part of the ceiling over the Manhattan bound 4/5 platform at Borough Hall station collapsed. Alert reader Andrew Porter notifies us of a Brooklyn Paper story about a similar collapse on the Brooklyn bound side. Fortunately, things are more or less back to normal now. Perhaps those of us who use that station would be wise to wear protective gear. Borough Hall station has gone postmodern: it’s now a deconstruction zone.
