This Friday evening, February 9, from 5:00 to 9:00, the Brooklyn Historical Society will present “Free Love”, a Free Friday event that gives you an opportunity to warm up for Valentine’s Day. The evening will get going with keyboardist Natti Vogel doing “anthems to singledom and trysts without strings attached.” Afterward, there will be talks and videos on various topics concerning love through the years in the Borough of Churches er, Cherce. Admission is free and you need no reservation; refreshments, which will include beer and “Age of Aquarius Punch”, may require a small donation. There’s more information here.
