Clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein and pianist Anna Polonsky (photo by Scott Meivogel) start Bargemusic’s concerts this weekend on Friday evening, October 6 at 8:00 with performances of works by Bernstein, Rozsa, Brahms, and Poulenc. On Saturday evening, October 7 at 8:00 cellist Inbal Segev and pianist Juho Pohjonen will play works by Grieg, Chopin, and Schumann. On Sunday afternoon, October 8 at 2:00 and again at 4:00 (these are separate concerts and require separate admission) pianist Philip Edward Fisher will perform the ninth in a series of concerts presenting the complete piano sonatas of Beethoven.
There are details for each concert and you may buy tickets here. On Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
