Brigate Bocce scored its first win of the Winter 2007 season on Sunday, beating Bourbon Balls in two straight sets 7 – 6, 7 – 3.
The Brigates fielded their most fierce lineup of the season — the saucy Mrs. Fink, Dr. Mark, Qfwfq and Homer Fink. Naked Idiot's Dan switched with Mrs. Fink in the second set, rolling brilliantly.
A euphoric Homer Fink met with reporters at the Chinese New Year celebration at nearby Porchetta.
Fink looked over crowd while chomping on a spare rib, waving it around to punctuate his sentences. "L'unica cosa migliore della vittoria è lotti di porco squisito. Pancetta affumicata, prosciutto, spuntature tutte da un animale. quella è allineare una cosa stupefacente. Qualcosa di simile li incita a credere in un'più alta alimentazione. La nostra vittoria oggi mi ha reso il tatto che ci potrebbe realmente essere un uomo invisibile nel cielo."
Brigate Bocce faces the Mamalukes at 4pm on Sunday 3/4.
