Once again, this weekend, from 11:45 PM Friday, April 28 to 5:00 AM Monday, May 1, there will be no service in either direction at the 4/5 platforms at Borough Hall, because of post-Sandy repair work on the tunnels connecting Brooklyn and Manhattan. Fortunately, barring unforeseen incidents, all other trains (except the R, which will not be doing its newly instituted late night service; take the N instead on late nights to or from Court Street or the N/R platforms at Jay Street-Metro Tech) serving local stations should be running normally this weekend.
Work on the 4/5 tunnels will continue on late nights (11:45 PM to 5:00 AM) the following work week: Monday, May 1 to Friday, May 6. During these hours, there will be no service in either direction at the 4/5 platforms at Borough Hall. Barring unforeseen incidents, all other lines serving local stations should be running normally. For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, or for unplanned disruptions, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
