The Underground Thrift Store at Plymouth Church is holding its semi-annual “stuff-a-sack” sale for the next two Sundays, February 19 and 26.
For $25 per sack, you can fill your sack with winter designer clothing for men, women, and children. Sales support anti-slavery and human trafficking causes. For fiscal year 2016-2017, the Underground Thrift Shop donates 25% of its net proceeds to Restore NYC, whose mission is to “end sex trafficking in New York and restore the well-being and independence of foreign national survivors.”
Housewares and purses are not included, but may be purchased during the sale, as can individual clothing items.
Hours of the sale are 12:30 – 4 pm. The Underground Thrift Store is located at 65 Hicks Street, between Orange and Cranberry.
