Update: The forecast as of now (Sunday, 1:30 p.m.) is for little if any rain (none today, a 20% chance tomorrow, and none Tuesday or Wednesday) but high winds tomorrow and Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for New York City which is in effect from 11:00 AM today. A tropical storm warning is issued 36 hours in advance of the anticipated onset of tropical-storm-force winds, which include sustained wind speeds of 39mph to 74mph.
