Beat the heat with some ice cream at Brooklyn Historical Society this Thursday evening, July 28. Starting at 7:00 historic gastronomist Sarah Lohman, of the blog Four Pounds Flour, will moderate a discussion featuring Brooklyn’s leading ice cream makers. And, yes, there will be samples, courtesy of Ample Hills Creamery and Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream. The event is presented in conjunction with Brookyn Brainery.
