On Tuesday evening, May 24, at 6:30, multi-media journalist and author Amy Goodman, producer of Democracy Now!, and co-author David Goodman, will discuss the show, now in its twentieth year of shining “light on important issues that are overlooked by mainstream news coverage”, and their book by the same title. On Thursday evening, May 26, at 6:30, BHS will present “Race and History: An Evening with Khalil Gibran Muhammad.” Prof. Muhammad is Director of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture and recently named Professor of History, Race and Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School.
