Tomorrow evening (Friday, April 22) at 8:00 Bargemusic presents flautist Julia Bogorad-Kogan and pianist Lydia Artymiw performing a mix of classical and modern pieces, including works by Schubert, Martinu, David Schiff, and Bartok. On Saturday evening, April 23, at 8:00 pianist Olga Vinokur (photo) will play works by Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Bolcom, Andy Akiho, and Gershwin. Sunday afternoon, April 24, at 4:00 Trio Combray, joined by violist Brett Deubner, will perform works by Brahms, Schumann, and Chausson.
Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated. There’s more information and buy tickets for the evening and Sunday concerts here.
