Bargemusic This Weekend

On Friday evening, March 4, starting at 8:00, Bargemusic will present violinist Daniel Kogan (photo) playing works by Bach, Bartok, Ysaÿe, and Paganini. On Saturday evening, March 5, at 8:00, pianist Craig Sheppard will play works by Shostakovich. On Sunday afternoon, March 6, at 4:00, pianists Jerome Lowenthal and Ursula Oppens will perform works by Chopin, Berg, Mozart, Carter, and Barber.

Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated. There’s more information and buy tickets for the evening and Sunday concerts here.
