At tonight’s CB2 parks committee meeting, Brooklyn Bridge Park Development Corporation President Regina Myer will present a construction update of Pier 6.
The controversial park was in the news last week when Mayor Bloomberg announced that he is working on a deal with the state to take over control of the park.
Also on tonight’s agenda is:
- An update on Walt Whitman Park renovations
- A presentation by artist Julia Vogl about a public art project in Fort Greene
- Discussion about a proposal for public toilets in Columbus Park
The meeting will be at Brooklyn Hospital, which is on DeKalb Avenue at St. Felix Street, in Dining Rooms A & B. The meeting starts at 6 pm.
