First the good news: there are no planned service changes affecting local stations on Christmas day or New Year’s day. The bad news is that there will be no service on the 4/5 line between Brooklyn and Manhattan in either direction from 11:45 p.m. Friday December 26 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, December 29, and from 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on the night of Monday, December 29 to Tuesday, December 30, and Tuesday, December 30 to the morning of New Year’s Eve day, Wednesday, December 31. All other lines connecting the Heights and vicinity to Manhattan–the A/C, the F, the R/N and the 2/3, should be running normally throughout the weekend and the following week.
For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender. Also check MTA Info for unplanned problems that may affect service.
