The Heights Players continue their season with Rodgers and Hart’s The Boys From Syracuse, which will be showing Friday and Saturday evenings, November 7 and 8, starting at 8:00, and Sunday, November 9 starting at 2:00. Tonight (Thursday, November 6) at 8:00 Bargemusic will present the Brooklyn Art Song Society singing works of Darius Milhaud. On Friday evening at 8:00 pianist Alexander Peskanov will play works by Bach, Schumann, and Prokofiev. On Saturday evening at 8:00 and Sunday afternoon at 4:00 violinist Giora Schmidt, cellist Amanda Forsyth, and pianist Philip Edward Fisher will perform works by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. Events in Brooklyn Bridge Park this weekend include Baylander tours at Pier 5 Saturday and Sunday, Smorgasburg, which will be on the Pier 5 uplands Sunday, and Docent Tours on Pier 1 Sunday.
