Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

It’s a green light weekend, as there are no planned changes directly affecting service at any local stations this coming weekend (Friday, June 6 to Monday, June 9). G train fans, who should watch this, need to know that the G won’t be running in either direction between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Avenue from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Alternate service is provided by the F train; catch it at Jay Street-Metro Tech.

The following week, there are no planned route diversions, cancellations, or station skips directly affecting service at local stations, apart from there being no 3 trains running from 11:45 p.m. Monday, June 9 to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10. 2 trains will be running normally during this time, so there will be service at Clark Street and at the 2/3 platforms at Borough Hall. Update:From Monday, June 9 to Friday, June 13 between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., F trains in both directions are being re-routed to the A/C line between Jay Street-MetroTech and West 4th Street. This means no service at York Street in DUMBO during these hours. Use High Street as an option.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
