Phantom Tollbooth Author Norton Juster at BHS Tomorrow for Book Signing, Documenatry Screening

Norton Juster, former Brooklyn Heights resident and author of The Phantom Tollbooth, will be at the Brooklyn Historical Society tomorrow (Thursday, May 1) evening for a screening of the documentary The Phantom Tollbooth: Beyond Expectations:

This playful documentary explores how Brooklyn neighbors Norton Juster and Jules Feiffer created one of our most beloved children’s books. Afterwards, children’s book author Jon Scieszka (The Stinky Cheese Man) interviews Juster in a meeting of two wildly imaginative minds!

The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for book signings by both authors. The screening will begin at 6:30, to be followed by the discussion. Admission is $10, but free for BHS members. Reserve tickets here.
