Calling all Yankee fans (and as a Met fan I know there are many, many of you) — I am filming a short to go along with Derek Jeter’s retirement, and am looking for people to recite a line from Walt Whitman’s poem “O Captain! My Captain!” Are you up for it? Message me here. It’s similar to a short I filmed in 2010 called O Brooklyn! My Brooklyn! featuring Heights folks like Mark from the Clark St Restaurant and the gals from Fabio Scalia Salon. So take a swing at it and don’t worry, no streets will be closed for the making of this film.
