Morning Walk Photos: Brooklyn Heights and Brooklyn Bridge Park

The robin is supposed to be a harbinger of spring. “If only!” this one seems to be saying to himself.

As I started my morning walk, a few little snowflakes were falling, but as I headed down into Squibb Park and across the bouncy bridge to Pier 1 in Brooklyn Bridge Park the flakes got fat and fluffy and more profuse. I saw the robin as I was taking the path up onto Pier 1.

A flock of Canada geese was floating in the East River.

A child enjoyed the snow along the path in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Packing and shoveling on Willow Place.

Sculpture garden off Remsen Street near Montague Terrace.

Looking along the Promenade from near the Remsen Street entrance; by then the snow was coming down very heavily.
