Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

This weekend, from 11:30 p.m. Friday, February 7 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, February 11, there will be no C train service in either direction in Brooklyn. A trains will be running to and from Manhattan at High Street and at Jay Street-MetroTech, but there will be no service in either direction between Jay Street and Utica Avenue. Shuttle buses will provide alternative service between these stations, stopping at all stations between Jay Street and Utica Avenue.

The following week (Monday, February 11 to Friday, February 14, a.k.a. Valentine’s Day) will see the same late night service changes as this week. From 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday to Friday, there will be no A or C train service in either direction between Jay Street-MetroTech and Broadway Junction. Shuttle buses will provide alternative service between these stations; local buses will serve all stations along the route and express buses will run between Jay Street and Broadway Junction stopping only at Hoyt-Schermerhorn, Nostrand Avenue, and Utica Avenue. There will be no 3 train service in either direction between 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday to Friday, but 2 trains will be running normally, so there will be service in both directions at Clark Street and on the 2/3 platform at Borough Hall.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
