Brooklyn bound F trains will be re-routed over the A line between West 4th Street in Manhattan to Jay Street-MetroTech from 11:45 p.m. Friday, January 10 until 5:00 a.m. Monday, January 13. This means no service from Manhattan to the York Street station in DUMBO. Those traveling from Manhattan to DUMBO this weekend may take the A, C, or F to High Street and walk down the hill, or continue to Jay and change to a Manhattan bound F there. To get to Brooklyn from the Lower East Side stations on ths F line (East Broadway, Delancey, 2nd Avenue, or Broadway-Lafayette) take an uptown F to West 4th Street and change there for a Brooklyn bound A, C, or F. From Broadway-Lafayette you also have the option of taking a downtown 6 local to Brooklyn Bridge and changing there to a 4 express to Borough Hall.
The following week, from 11:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday, January 13 to Friday, January 17, there will be no A train service in either direction between Jay Street-MetroTech and Utica Avenue. Free shuttle buses will provide alternative service, making all A train stops between these stations.
For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
