Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

Brooklyn bound F trains will be re-routed over the A line between West 4th Street in Manhattan to Jay Street-MetroTech from 11:45 p.m. Friday, January 3 until 5:00 a.m. Monday, January 6. This means no service from Manhattan to the York Street station in DUMBO. Those traveling from Manhattan to DUMBO this weekend may take the A, C, or F to High Street and walk down the hill, or continue to Jay and change to a Manhattan bound F there.

The following week, each night from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday, January 6 to Friday, January 10, there will be no G train service in either direction at Hoyt-Schermerhorn. Free shuttle buses will provide alternative service between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues, where G train service will resume or terminate. For G stations between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Avenue, take the F train from or to Jay Street; it will make all G stops between these stations. The G will resume and terminate at Church Avenue.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
