If this menu is correct, it looks promising: https://www.grubhub.com/nyc/gallitos-mexican-urban-cuisine/

“Mexican and local cheese plate, artisan bread crisp, housemade heirloom apple marmalade and Finster Honey Farm drizzles.”?

    Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.

    Six months, tops.

Look forward to trying it. We do need a good Mexican place in the neighborhood and it’s encouraging to see the diversification of restaurants on Montague lately, with the tapas place and Hanco apparently doing well.

I have a rule.. I don’t eat anything whose descrption contains the following words:
“drizzled”, “hearty”, “crusted”, “fixin’s”, “flaky”, “succulent”.

  • gatornyc

Based on one item on a menu, why? Actually sounds good to me.

  • GHB

What is “fixin’s”? Really. I want to know.

One can only hope that this place can serve good consistent food and have some staying power.
