BHB: The Seven Year Itch

Holy crap! Yesterday marked BHB’s 7th anniversary. It seems like only yesterday that we started this koo koo crazy ride.

Thanks for encouraging our behavior for all these years. Special thanks to Mrs. Fink and Toddler Fink for putting up with this (although the latter has only been around for the last 3 years).

Of course megakudos to my partners in blog – Claude Scales and Qfwfq and those we met along the way: Heather Quinlan, Marc Hermann, TK Small, Karl Junkersfeld, Martin Schneider, Teresa Genaro, Colleen Quill, Erin Cassin, Sarah Portlock, Matthew Parker and many, many others who have contributed to the site.

And special shout outs to my pals IRL who have pitched in with news tips and such: EJ Cory, Greg Clayman, Scott Greer, Eric Loffswold, Meg Leake, Dennis Taylor, Alex Kirby and of course “Cousin” Jeff Strabone and many, many more.

And while we may be a tough room sometimes for our electeds, thanks to Daniel Squadron, Steve Levin and Marty Markowitz for your support of ours and all Brooklyn blogs.

And thanks to Judy Stanton and the BHA for their support (and Community Service Award!) as well.

And finally… Gersh Kuntzman… you made the first years of doing this site a lot of fun and our little ecosystem misses you terribly! Really. For reals.

So where should we have a party this month?

I get loads of junk email every day–I mean like 30 to 50 emails, but I scan them all looking for the BHB email, which I read first. Thanks and keep up the good work.
