The Atlantic Avenue BID has let us know that this Thursday, August 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a community painting event in the tunnel below the BQE’s overpass of Atlantic. The BID won an award to have a mural painted there, and you may contribute to it.
We will be doing a community painting day this Thursday August 1st,
where anyone can come to the site of the mural (north side of
Atlantic, under the BQE) and assist with painting. It would be a great
day to come out and talk to people about the project. We are hoping to
get lots of different community members there that day.
So, if you’re resident in Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, or any surrounding neighborhoods, and feel like expressing yourself for a good cause, please come and join in!
