Brooklyn Heights Synagogue, 131 Remsen Street (between Clinton and Henry) will host an open house Shabbat service on Friday evening, April 19, starting at 6:30. BHS describes itself as “a thriving, inclusive Reform Jewish congregation” consisting of “families, couples, and singles living in nearby Brownstone Brooklyn neighborhoods, DUMBO, lower Manhattan” and beyond. In addition to “a full calendar of worship services,” BHS offers early childhood and religious schools, adult education programs, and “opportunities to engage in Tikkun Olam that reflects the diverse interests and needs of this community. Clergy, administrators, board members, and congregants will be available to answer questions at the oneg after the service. Babysitting is available.
