Oral argument in a lawsuit brought by Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum, City Council members Bill de Blasio and Letitia James, and others, seeking to overturn the City Council’s action in extending term limits for Mayor Bloomberg and other City officeholders to allow an additional term, will begin tomorrow, Monday, January 5, at 4:30 P.M., in Courtroom 6-A of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza East. U.S. District Judge Charles Sifton will preside.

I hope there is a way to reinstate the 2 term limit for the city council but keep the 3rd term for the mayor….
