Dog Found on Grace Court Alley Reunited with Owner Thanks to BHB Readers

This just in from a BHB reader:

We found this Boston Terrier at 11:00 am this morning at the end of our street: Grace Court Alley.  She is VERY shy and possibly old or sick. We have put her in a dog crate and brought her inside. She has no collar.

If this is your dog or know who its owner is, please contact BHB (webmaster AT brooklynheightsblog DOT com).

UPDATE:  From “Richard” who found the pooch:

The owner has been found!! Thank you Maria for pointing out the CraigsList link, which I wouldn’t have thought to check otherwise. This led to our finding the owner and she has now picked up the dog.
Thanks also to BHB for posting this. I’m glad this had a happy ending!

Note: Headline revised at 6pm 1/1/13 to reflect happy ending!

FYI: Maria is a follower of BeeBop’s. Miracles do happen.

Bring the pup to an emergency animal hospital or veterinary clinic if open, and have it scanned for a microchip… have them scan all over, not just the neck area.. the chips move over time, so have them be thorough…. Prayers that the owners be found…

Please, I been trying to find a Boston Terrier. Mine died two years ago, he lived for 15 years. I’m incomplete without one. My 9 yr old son and I can give her a good home!

This dog ran off from it’s owner last night around 9pm on Atlantic Ave. The women was walking up Henry St last night looking for him. I am sure you will see flyers or maybe post some.

THANK YOU ALL so much Quincy and I are back together. She is resting well and doing ok. I’m her pet sitter and have been watching her whole her owners were away. Yet return tomorrow. There are good people in the world and there is community. Thank you R & M for taking such good care of her while she stayed a grace court alley.

This is great news! This is a wonderful way to start the New Year.

    Nice story!

  • Ha Ha Ha

Thank god that evil cat hoarder who lives closeby didn’t get a chance to kidnap this animal.

  • Gerry

I am so happy that dog will have a warm home to sleep in tonight no be out on the street in the cold alone.

  • Mr. Crusty

You mean we don’t have to donate to help find her like we’ve been doing the last two years for BeeBop? Cool.

  • Cathy

My goodness Mr. Crusty! You are in everybody’s business, aren’t you? You need to step away from your crumb infested keyboard and do something good for somebody. Try it.

  • Mr. Crusty

And you should stop fleecing gullible animal lovers for your own narcissism and greed. How much money have you collected over the last two years from your flock so far Cathy? Hmmmmm?

  • cathy

Call me Mr. Crusty and I’ll let your look at my earnings statement.

  • Mr. Crusty

Oh, I’m sure you’ve reported every penny Cathy.

  • Mr. Crusty

Why don’t you give us a ballpark figure Cathy, how much have you received to “help” you find your cat that has been missing for two years now? You continue to solicit donations on your FB page to this day so we’re curious. $50? $500? $5,000? $50,000? Ballpark.

  • cathy

I’ll give you or anybody else $2,000 CASH/NO QUESTIONS ASKED, if you can find missing BeeBop or have info leading to his return. 917-837-6899.

  • Mr. Crusty

    Yeah, I didn’t think so.

  • cathy

Call me anytime Mr. Crusty. I really want to get to know you better.

  • Mr. Crusty

I’d call that Nigerian guy that keeps emailing me about helping him with his inherited fortune before I would call you.

  • cathy

Glad to hear that! Keep counting my money!

  • TeamBeeBop

Mr Crusty you need to peel that crust off your eyes!! Open your eyes and SEE the truth, not the lies you continue to spew.
    New year = nothing New!!

Way to make a positive thread about a positive story negative Team BeeBop. Stay classy.

I’m very happy this Boston Terrier was found and reunited with owners.

Scam Bee Bop seems more likely. Shameless, grubbing people pulling on others heart strings for their money.

I am glad the little dog is safe. The owner, and dog, must be horrified with their near loss. Thank God, there are some good people in the world.

@ athy and a$$ociates. How do we know that you haven’t already recovered Bee Bop, and you aren’t just scamming the internet for donation suckers?

From your prior comments, your motivations are quite clear. $$$$$
