As we reported earlier in the Bugle, there will be a discussion about the MTA’s response to Hurricane Sandy tomorrow evening (Wednesday, December 5) at the Transit Museum, entrance at Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street, starting at 6:30. Participating in the discussion will be: James Ferrara, who oversees seven bridges and two highway tunnels, including the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel; Thomas Abdallah, who helped to create the MTA’s Environmental Management System; and Ben Kabak, creator of the blog 2nd Ave. Sagas. Admission is free. Pre-event registration is “at capacity,” but seats will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 6:00.
