Brazen Burglar Hits Two “75s”

Police are looking for this man who is wanted for burglarizing an astonishing seven apartments in the Heights early Friday morning.

The first five incidents occurred at 75 Henry St. between 4:30 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. on October 5, where the suspect allegedly gained entry to five apartments, each time being caught in the act by occupants.

Deciding to try his luck elsewhere, he moved south to 75 Livingston St., where surveillance footage shows him entering the lobby past a guard and boarding the elevator.  He attempted to hit two apartments in this building between 6:25 A.M. and 6:35 A.M., but was again thwarted.

No property was taken in any of the incidents.

    I’ve read the complaint reports. I don’t think there’s a problem with me saying what happened is exactly what was reported. LOCK YOUR DOORS. Just because you live in a doorman building doesn’t mean you’re safe. Think of what they probably pay the doorman – you get exactly what you pay for. I deadbolt and chain my doors, always, and I’m armed. If I weren’t, I would get a baseball bat.

    I am sorry but you cannot blame the salary of the doorman for his failure to do his job. I live in a doorman building and I have never heard of a theft so far. People have to sign in and out if they do not live here.
    Although my building is very safe I have no idea who might have access to an old key that might be floating around. We do double bolt our door at night but also have a safety bar which pretty much guarantees that no one could break in.

    sunday night i had a dream with this dude and he told me in the dream he didn’t want the police to catch him…monday morning I’m in my way going to school with my sister and i tell her i found that dream i have with a random dude telling me random stuff like this. when i come from school in the afternoon i see the news and i see him from the video they showed and i was like he looked exactly the same from my dream….i guess God wanted me to know his little secret…but i was in shock….like hello guy stop going into people’s houses that not cool!

    was he even caught?…i really really want to know since i saw him in a dream i want to know the end of this…i wish i would ever see him like in my dream
