Movie & TV Shoots Pervading Brooklyn Heights This Wednesday?

A tipster in the ‘hood Tuesday evening informed us that he hears Wednesday October 10, is scheduled to be a red-letter (or is that red cone?) day in Brooklyn Heights for movie and TV shoots—with as many as 10 taking place around the neighborhood. Our usual online resources didn’t offer much in the way of specifics, but a trek around Remsen Street and Montague Terrace after dark tonight revealed plenty of yellow tape and plastic cones, as well as two massive vehicles parked at Remsen’s end near the Promenade, with “catering” signs on the windows.

As always, most shoots are accompanied by stern warnings about moving vehicles from the vicinity. Please let BHB know if you have details or photos about and from shoots this week.

I would probably feel the same way if I parked my car on the streets of BH. Years ago, I complained to someone about how obvious it was that a movie that was supposed to take place in New York was filmed somewhere else. Be careful about what you wish for, you may get it…over and over.

Angriest Man in Brooklyn is probably one of them. That fits!
