Armani Exchange Commits To Downtown Fulton Mall’s City Point

The latest tenant to join Downtown Brooklyn’s gargantuan City Point mixed-use project along Fulton Street Mall is A/X Armani Exchange. Brownstoner reports that Acadia Realty Trust and developer Washington Square Partners brokered the deal for the designer clothing retailer. It will open in November at Fulton and Albee Square, followed by the previously announced Century 21 in 2015. (Photo: Chuck Taylor)

Anybody know why it’s going to take Century 21 more than two years to open at CityPoint? Seems like a very long lead time…

Who in any of the surrounding neighborhoods actually shops at Armani Exchange?

  • Brad

Armani Exchange clothes with the logos are not my taste but I do shop there for jeans and casual suits for work/weekends. Their fit is spot-on.

I have an Armani Exchange shirt I love, but I found it at one of the local thrifts. The A/X is fairly inconspicuous, or I wouldn’t be seen in it.

    j,
The surrounding neighborhoods are Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Red Hook, Boerum Hill, etc. etc. etc.
Seems like alot of people to me who might be interested in shopping at Armani Exchange even if it’s not your cup of tea.
