TONIGHT! Brooklyn Bridge Park is hosting “Journey to the Stars,” with the Amateur Astronomers Association. Join astronomers at the Pier 1 Promenade as they guide your eyes across the sky and the wonders of astronomy are revealed. Look for the Syfy telescopes there.     Wow. Wish I had known about this. Perfect skies for it.
    I have been advocating an astronomy center on the southern end of Governor’s Island for the dark skies on clear nights like tonight. Perhaps we could call it after Neil Armstrong.

    I wish that you would cover the Heights Players on Willow Place. The present show is Twentieth Century. It is a very funny, laugh out loud show with terrific talent and a beautiful 20’s set. It is well worth a visit.
    The Heights Players is the oldest self sustaining community theater in New York City.
    The theater is located at 26 Willow PLACE, one block west of Hicks Street, between Joralemon Street and State Street. Performances are Fridays, Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. Call 718 237 2752 for reservations.
