Pointing out all these suicides and murders is in very poor taste, especially since some occured so recently.
Oh please, get over yourself, this is an interesting historical panorama of death in the neighborhood……

Who’d-a-thunk that BH was Mayhem Central to the degree it was…and is? Maybe it’s the small-town phenomenon in which violence is inversely proportionate to population size….
Doesn’t bother me so much but I can see where this would rank up there with Mrs. Fink’s rat photo in terms of bad taste..
Can someone please explain how violent crime is in bad taste?
Is it the context–this blog–that, for some, makes it so?
Or is it the fact that Homer is enumerating examples of it without the usual tsk-tsking pieties?
In any case, it’s Halooooooween!
