Sahmi, Other Merchants Get Free Pumpkins

The Montague Street BID handed out free pumpkins to dozens of their member businesses today.  BID president Timothy King, James Weir Floral owner/BID board member Estela Johannesen (pictured with Sahmi from Pets Emporium) and executive director Chelsea Mauldin distributed the “Halloween cheer”.

The BID will sponsor a sidewalk pumpkin carving demonstration by artist Hugh McMahon the week before Halloween.  “Montague Street businesses that display their free BID pumpkin will be entered to win one of Hugh’s amazing creations — see http://www.gochelsea.com/pumpkins/ for examples,” according to their press release.
