It’s a busy day for Judy Stanton and the Brooklyn Heights Association. She sends us this update on Sanitation Department scheduling:
1) There will be no garbage trucks on Monday (tomorrow) because of the Washington’s Birthday holiday.
2) Your regular garbage will be picked up on Wednesday morning. Please hold back all regular trash until late Tuesday night for Wednesday morning trucks.
3) For residents whose RECYCLING is ordinarily picked up on Monday, collection will begin at MIDNIGHT on Tuesday morning and finish up by 2 PM on Tuesday afternoon.
PLEASE wait until late Monday night before piling your recyling bags at the curb. It should all be gone by 2 pm on Tuesday.

P.S. If you’re in an apartment building where garbage is managed by a custodian, please provide us with the custodian’s email address and help to keep our sidewalks cleaner.
