Anti-abortion protest blocks Joralemon Street

Police are blocking Joralemon St to allow about 25 anti-abortion activists to protest in front of the Medical Arts Building (barricades had been stockpiled there last night in case a larger group showed up).

    I wonder if the NYPD will use pepper spray on these protesters. Rhetorical question.

    If NYPD is prepared, they almost certainly have a permit. Police won’t take action unless they block the entrance.

    Fire hoses work much better than pepper spray in this weather.

    Were these protesters or the group that goes around praying in front of abortion providers offices? The latter won’t give anyone any trouble; they don’t even get loud enough to wake sleeping neighbors. But real protesters, that can get messy!

    Oh I’ve seen those protestors…I call them the Fetus Patrol. One guy has a fetus frisbee (I’m not kidding).
