Dr. Stuart Friedman tells us via Facebook about some renovations going on at 132 Montague Street:
In case anyone is wondering why there are pieces of wood nailed to the front window of Heights Vision Center on Montague Street, it is for safety reasons. Over the last few days the window has begun to separate from the frame. The owner of the building will be reframing the window due to it’s state of deterioration. So until then ( and I hope it’s quick) we have some beams of wood securing the glass and keeping the pedestrians safe. The good news is that the building should look great when this is done.
