Band Promotes Album Recorded in Brooklyn Heights Apartment

WNYC has posted a feature about The Wooden Birds, who recorded their entire debut album in a Brooklyn Heights apartment. They’ll be appearing at Rock Shop tonight.

WNYC: Kenny wrote the songs for The Wooden Bird’s debut record Magnolia over several years living in Brooklyn. The album was recorded in a Brooklyn Heights apartment. On the record, Kenny is joined by drummer Sean Haskins, former AmAnSet collaborator Leslie Sisson, and guitarist and singer Matt Pond (of Matt Pond PA).
