Children’s Events at Brooklyn Bridge Park

“On-the-Go at Brooklyn Bridge Park” is hosting two free children’s programs this week.  It is a great way to introduce kids to the abundance of nature in their local Brooklyn neighborhood.

The Brooklyn Children’s Museum at large hosts a bug event at the Dumbo waterfront.  Participants will listen to a story about insects from around the world, and they will find out why even teeny-weeny bugs can be a big deal. Children can also create various insects using recycled tree branches and meet a surprise “live animal” from the museum.
