The rain accompanying the low pressure system parked over our area like Joe Btfsplk’s cloud has made BRIC Arts Media relocate tomorrow (Thursday, May 19) evening’s Tropical Dance Party, with music by La Excelencia and Que Bajo?!, and featuring DJs Uproot Andy and Geko Jones, from Pier 1 to the Tobacco Warehouse, Water Street at the foot of Dock Street, in the Fulton Ferry Historic District. A tent will be set up inside the roofless Warehouse to keep revelers dry. Be there at 7:00 p.m. for a free salsa dance lesson.
