Theater 2020 “Visions for a New Millennium” will present its “Spring Fever” gala on Sunday, March 27, starting at 3:00 p.m. (doors open at 2:30) at St. Ann and the Holy Trinity Church, corner of Clinton and Montague Streets. Theater 2020 is led by producing artistic directors and Montague Street residents David Fuller and Judith Jarosz. Details on the program for the gala follow the jump.
The concert will feature performers from the Broadway, cabaret, and indie theater communities, and there will be a reception immediately following the concert. Artists slated to appear include: performer/composer Matt Castle (Broadway revival “Company”), award winning musical theater writer/composer Joe Iconis (Jonathan Larson, Ed Kleban & Backstage Bistro Award), and theater and cabaret star Lorinda Lisitza (Nightlife, MAC, & Backstage Bistro Award). Also scheduled are Seth Bisen-Hersh, Jason Wynn (MAC & OOBR Award), Greg Horton (The Singapore Mikado, New York Innovative Theater Award), David Tillistrand (Nyita nominee), Cristiane Young (Nyita nominee), Christopher Michael McLamb (The Cradle Will Rock), and the vocal group RPM, among others.
Tickets are $20 for general seating and $50 for preferred seating; they may be purchased on-line at TheaterMania or by phone at 212-352-3101. You may pay at the door (cash only), but please reserve in advance at Theater2020@gmail.com. Theater 2020 participates in the TDF voucher program. The running time for the concert (but not for the reception following) is 90 minutes.
