BBP Advisory Council Meeting Rescheduled

The Brooklyn Bridge Park Community Advisory Council will hold its second meeting next Tuesday (1/11) at 6:00pm at St. Francis College (Callahan Center – 1st floor). The Council is made of up representatives of Elected Officials and Community Organizations, and advises the Brooklyn Bridge Park Development Corp.

While an agenda has not been made available, a likely topic of discussion will be the recommendations of the BBPDC’s Committee on Alternatives to Housing, which include evaluation of new potential revenues from the sale of buildings presently owned and used by Watchtower, more concessions, including food and fine dining, fee-based recreational facilities and paid parking.

The meeting is open to the public.

Update: This post has been updated to reflect that the meeting has been rescheduled for one week from this evening, Tuesday, January 11, same time, same place.

Mea culpa! The copy editor let that one slip by. It’s especially embarrassing considering this.

Claude, what a perfect setup for introduction to your wonderful explanation of proper use of the apostrophe from “Self Absorbed Boomer”, one of my favorite blogs.

    Perfect.

You can’t make this stuff up.

It seems that the January 11 date also is in conflict with the board meetings for both the Brooklyn Heights Association and the Cobble Hill Association.

T.K., that is what is known as a cluster-duck. Perfect timing on the Council’s part, no?
