so this is some sort of shtick that goes on in that little dive of a bar on Atlantic Avenue? Do people really go to that?
    is it like, a scene?

I wouldnt really call that place a dive bar, the game show has been written up in daily news, time out new york, and the voice. the pot is always over a hundred bucks winner take all, and yes there are people who go to the game show regularly, if that constitutes a “scene”..its more interesting than what goes on north of Atlantic, fer sure…

Magnetic Field is hardly a dive bar, perhaps you are mixing it up with Montero’s down the block which is indeed a long time (great) real deal dive bar… The block used to be filled with dive bars back in the day, an old favorite for myself was The International which was a few doors down from Sahadi’s.
