The Brooklyn Museum Library, located in the Museum at 200 eastern Parkway, will present a lecture on Walt Whitman's apprenticeship with Brooklyn printers and his subsequent work at the Brooklyn Apprentices' Library, which evolved into the Brooklyn Institute and ultimately into today's Brooklyn Museum. The lecture, which will be given by poet and librarian Jeffrey Croteau, will be this Saturday, February 2, beginning at 3:00 p.m. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to library@brooklynmuseum.org, as seating is limited.
