We know it's chilly out, but if you look up from underneath all those layers, you'll notice that the Montague Street holiday decorations are officially in force! This year, the Business Improvement District has decked the lampposts not just with greenery but with holiday lights, which should keep all things merry and bright.

By the way, if you haven't already seen it, make sure to keep an eye out for the recently installed winter-themed Heights lamppost artwork! The banners  were designed and illustrated by Brooklyn artists Claudia Brandenburg and Sarah Knotz.

The event starts in front of the Garden of Eden on Montague Street at 6 p.m.

Lastly, don't miss the annual Christmas tree lighting at the Montague Street entrance to the Promenade on Wednesday, December 12th! Hosted by the Brooklyn Heights Garden Club, festivities will include singing and a possible appearance by a bearded man in red and white…
